JMAR Insurance Agency is an Independent Insurance Agency, which means we have many Insurance and Surety carriers to fit your needs. Our mission is to provide business insurance and surety bonds to minority & disadvantaged businesses, including consulting and initiatives to promote prosperity and development.Â
JMAR Insurance Agency is a Minority Woman-Owned Business for over 30 years. We can assist with your Church, Restaurant, Small Business Program, Janitorial Services, Security Guard needs and all Contractors.
Jerry Vallery
Founder
In 1990, Mr. Vallery formed Contract Support Systems, the first bonding company established to service minority men and women contractors in Philadelphia. Later in 1993 Jerry established JMAR Insurance Agency, Inc. to provide insurance products to minority and disadvantaged businesses. Both companies offered instructional and educational support to the community for insurance and bonding related products and services through institutional and training programs throughout the City of Philadelphia. Mr. Vallery also founded the Construction Management Certification Program at Temple University which is still part of their curriculum today after over 35 years.
